Home

The Home tab of the User Portal is prepared to offer a multitude of information according to the ingredients that have been configured.

 

 

The types of ingredients available are:

  • KB: Information from the Knowledge Base.
  • ITEM: Ticket listings.
  • GLOBAL: Global ticket list of the service.
  • HTML: Block where we can enter the custom HTML code we want (links, images, text, etc).
  • DOCUMENT: Links to documents that we indicate.
  • MESSAGE: Text messages when accessing the Portal.
  • MENU: Menu with access to personalized URLs.
  • IFRAME: HTML page container.
  • RESULSET: Result of a query on a database.

All this information, with the exception of the ITEM and GLOBAL type panels, can be displayed publicly. In this way we can have visible information for anyone who connects to the portal can view it before logging into the application.

On the other hand, after logging in the application we can show the ingredients depending on the role the user has. We will be able to show each group of users the most relevant information.

 

 

Within the private part of the Portal we find the following information:

 

  • Home: The initial screen with the ingredients configured for the user’s role.
  • Solutions: Shows the tree of the default solution library and a search engine to quickly see the published solutions that match the word/s entered in the text box. It is also possible to search in the different defined libraries.
  •  Service Catalog: Access to the service catalog where the user can request any of the visible ones (according to their role and access fields) and thus automatically generate a new request.
  •  New Ticket: Access to the form for creating a new ticket.
  •  Ticket History: Shows the list of user tickets.
  •  Configurable menu: Shows links to external pages. The name "External Access" can be configured.
  •  Help: Access to the ServiceTonic online help.
  •  Preferences: User contact data such as name and surname, telephone, email, language, profile picture...
