Templates are groups of sensors defined to generate tickets in ServiceTonic, understanding sensor as a monitoring process configured by the user.
The aim of the templates is to generate tickets every time a sensor meets the defined alarm criteria.
These templates can be found in Tools / Management / Templates.
Text to be displayed on ServiceTonic's tickets:
At the top of the template configuration, the text is generated along with the defined variables, which will be included in the generated ServiceTonic ticket when a template alarm is triggered.
The administrator will be in charge of creating the new templates from this screen and once they have been generated, they will be linked to the scanned CIs.
There are 6 different types of sensors that can be included in the template created. You can add one or more of them.
The new template is generated by clicking on the button at the top right.
Opening the drop-down menu <<New template>> shows the already created templates, and selecting one of them shows the associated fields which can be edited or deleted.
